Ms. Stephanie Elaine Cason, 32 of Valdosta passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at her residence. Ms. Cason was born in Valdosta on July 14, 1980 to Mikell Dwayne and Debbie Elaine Cason. She attended Brooks Co. schools and Valdosta Technical College. Ms. Cason was a very caring and free hearted person. The angels in heaven are rejoicing, but they are also belly laughing. She worked in Belk's at the Clinique counter and volunteered to do face painting at events held at the Lowndes Co. Library.
Survivors include her parents, Dwayne and Debbie Cason of Barney; sister, Belinda Gail Cason of Adel; brother, Howie Dwayne Cason of Barney; paternal grandparents, Howard W. and Minnie Geneva Cason, Jr. of Barney; two nieces, Skyler Renae and Kenise Nicole Cason of Adel; former sister-in-law, Christi Carter of Adel; and the love of her life, her man, Daniel Neasbitt of Valdosta; also her 17 year old cat, Angel. Ms. Cason was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Willie Mae Reid and Daniel McIntyre.
Funeral services will be held at Pauline Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tommy Bussey officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Pauline Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home.
