Mr. Jerry M. Moore, 64, of Adel, passed away Thursday Oct. 25, 2012, in Lake City, Fla. at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Mr. Moore was born March 20, 1948 in Hahira, Ga. to the late Eris and Irene Martin Moore. He lived all of his life in Cook County. Mr. Moore was a member of the Adel Church of God, a retired truck driver and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hart Moore of Adel, Ga.; a daughter and son-in-law, Leanne and Derek Lunsford; one grand-daughter, Lexy Lunsford all of Atlanta, Ga.; two nephews and their wives: Michael and Lisa Moore, Scotty and Heather Moore; two great-nephews, Ty and Blake Moore; two great nieces, Megan and Chelsea Moore; two sisters in-law, Linda D. Hart and Linda Moore Carter all of Adel, Ga. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by one brother, Sonny Moore.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home, 1804 South Hutchinson Avenue, Adel, Ga. with the rev Kenneth Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at the Beulah Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. — Boone Funeral Home.
