VALDOSTA —
Sherile Joan Allison, 70, of Valdosta, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 27, 1941, in Tampa, Fla., a daughter of the late James R. and Minnie Cantrell McHan. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Allison is survived by four sons, Wayne Pierce and William Earl of Valdosta, Bubby Lee Allison of Newport, Tenn., and Christopher Allison of Valdosta; two daughters, Nena Allison and Tena Bennett of Newport, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gwendolyn Walden of Bell, Fla., and Bea Brashaw of Zephyrhills, Fla.; four brothers, Benny McHan and Ray McHan of Zephyrhills, Fla., Billy Cantrell of Chatsworth, Ga., and Ricky McHan of Wimauma, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bill Allison.
