Mrs. Katherine Elaine Cason Tucker, 38, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, in the Shands Hospital, Jacksonville, FL.
Mrs. Tucker was born Nov. 20, 1973, in Waycross. She was a Registered Nurse and was Director of Nursing at the Clinch HealthCare, Homerville. She had earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University and was a member of the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church. She was a wonderful nurse who was loved by her co-workers and patients. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, J.C. and Virginia Green and L.M. and Sara Bell Cason.
She was a precious mother to her twin daughters, Alaina Lee Tucker and Olivia Lee Tucker; and her son James Harrison Tucker all Homerville; she is also survived by her father and mother, David L. “Buddy” and Ginger Green Cason, Homerville; one sister and brother-in-law: Marian C. and John Davis, Homerville; one brother: John David Cason, Homerville; her former husband: James Oliver Tucker, Homerville; six nieces and nephews: Christopher Davis, Hannah Davis, Sarah Katherine Davis, Kaleb Cason, Zachery Cason and Trenton Cason all of Homerville and several other relatives.
Services for Mrs. Tucker will be held Sunday, May 6, 2012, at 2 from the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home.
