Mrs. Ramona Robinson Lipsey, 80, of Adel, Georgia passed away January 5, 2013 at the Berrien Nursing Center following a long illness. She was born March 19, 1932 in Nashville, Georgia to the late Jerry Jackson “J.J. “ Robinson and Ruby Myrtle Troupe Robinson. She lived most of her life in Adel, Georgia and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church. Mrs. Lipsey was a homemaker and had retired from Cowart & Folsom Grocery store.
She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Brian and Regina Lipsey of Oviedo, Florida, Jerry “Randy” and Gina Lipsey of Nashville, Georgia; Grandchildren: Heather Lipsey of Oviedo, Florida, Chris and Shauna Lipsey of Oviedo, Florida, Shane Lipsey of Adel, Georgia, Tyler Lipsey of Nashville, Georgia; Great-Grandchildren: Christina Lipsey of Oviedo, Florida, Mackenzie Lipsey of Oviedo, Florida; one brother, Carlton Robinson of Ocala, Florida; niece, Janet Robinson of Ocala, Florida, nephew, Eric Robinson of North Palm Beach, Florida. Mrs. Lipsey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lamar “Bob” Lipsey .
The Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Studstill officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 202 N. Hutchinson Ave., Adel, Georgia. Boone Funeral Home is serving the Lipsey family.
