Terry Grenat, 69 of Valdosta passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Lafayette, Ind. on Oct. 25, 1943 to the late Ivan Charles and Alberta Jeanne (Mehegan) Grenat. He retired after 22 years as a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Following his service to his country he worked and retired from the civil service after 20 years of service. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church. Mr. Grenat was preceded in death by two brothers, William Grenat and John Grenat.
Survivors Include his wife, Chun Cha Grenat of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Tony Nicasio, Tucson, Ariz.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony Grenat, Detroit, Mich., Steve and Heather Grenat, Valdosta; three grandchildren, David Nicasio, Ethan Grenat and Aniela Grenat; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Larry Vanderwielen, Lafayette, Ind., Diane and Bob Slaughterbeck Lafayette, Ind., Lisa Vandeventer, Lafayette, Imd.; brother and sister-in-law, David and Jan Grenat, Fort Collins, Colo.; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today, Jan. 15, 2013 at Perimeter Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
