VALDOSTA —
Robert Lee Thrush, 69, of Nashville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at South Georgia Medical Center.
He was born June 6, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Roland R. and Ruby M. Snyder Thrush. Mr. Thrush honorably served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired Railroad Engineer.
In addition to his wife, Virginia M. Thrush of Palestine, Texas, he is survived by six children, Robert Thrush and wife Elizabeth of Gilmer, Texas, Thomas Thrush and wife Tina of Palestine, Texas, Kathleen Daigle of Schriever, La., Dennis Thrush of Lindale, Texas, Mark Thrush of Dallas, Texas, and Ronald Thrush and wife Ashley of Nashville, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service for Mr. Thrush will be held on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.
