Thomas W. Neal, 72, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on Oct. 26, 1940 in North Plainfield, N.J. to the late George Joseph Neal and Emma Claire Nuller Neal. Mr. Neal is retired from the United States Air Force and Civil Service. He was a budget analyst with Civil Service at Moody Air Force Base.
Mr. Neal is survived by his wife, Wanpen Neal of Valdosta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Happy and Scott Pierce of Albuquerque, N.M. and Renee and Gil Morris of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two grandsons, Ian Pierce and Ryan Neal; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Gary (Pete) and Gigi Neal and Pat Neal of North Plainfield, N.J.; two sisters, Jean Quatro of North Plainfield, N.J. and Fern Faber of Palm Beach, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Ann Marie Neal of Safety Harbor, Fla. He is preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 from 4-6 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. At his request no services will be held.
