Margaret Brock Lankford, 58, of Valdosta passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born March 7, 1954 in Dade City, Fla. to Thomas Edison and Wilma Brock. Mrs. Lankford worked as a Paraprofessional at W.G. Nunn Elementary School for 30 years, and was a member of The Rock Church.
Survivors include Parents Thomas Edison & Wilma Brock of Valdosta, Ga.; Husband Donnie Lankford of Valdosta, Ga.; Son & Daughter-in-law Chris & Amy Childers Lankford of Hahira, Ga.; Daughter & Son-in-Law Kim Lankford Daly & Mike Daly of Valdosta, Ga.; Six grandchildren Jordan Daly, Madison Webb, George Webb, MaryAnn Webb, Kate Lankford, Peyton Lankford; Her brother Eddie Brock, and a daughter Marcy Lynn Lankford precedes her in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening (June 26, 2012) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
