Billy Jack May, 64, of Nashville, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2012 in the Berrien County Hospital. He was born Jan. 28, 1948 in Berrien County to the late Dewey Clayton May and Kathleen Bailey. He was a retired machine mechanic with Nashville Mills. He was a member of Hope Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey May.
He is survived by his wife, Weida Virginia Mize May of Nashville; daughter, Robbin (Darron) Lanier of Nashville; three sons, Billy (Tammy) May of Norman Park, Jamie (April) May of Nashville, and Timothy May of Nashville; his mother, Kathleen May of Nashville; two brothers, James May of Nashville, and Wayne May of Nashville; and eight grandchildren, Maygan Lanier, Joshua Lanier, Mackinzie Lanier, Seth Morgan, Brittany May, Christopher May, Brodie May, and Andrue May.
Funeral services will be held Sunday Nov. 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Chad Hall and the Rev. Ray Calvin officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday after 3 PM with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM. Flowers will be accepted or make memorial contributions to Hope Baptist Church. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville.
