Mr. Grady Thomas Bryan Sr., 92, of Lenox, Georgia (West Berrien) passed away December 1, 2012 at his daughter's residence in Tifton, Georgia. Mr Bryan was born in Berrien County to the late Thomas Baker Bryan and Eunie Malissie Fort Bryan. He was a Deacon and member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church, a retired farmer and a US Navy veteran of WWII.
Mr. Bryan is survived by his children and their spouse: Christine and Glenn Hardy of Tifton, Georgia; T. E. and Ginger Bryan of Dalton, Georgia; Charles and Christine Bryan of Lenox, Georgia; Ruth and J. D. Hall of Tifton, Georgia; Grady, Jr. and Jeanne Bryan of Sparks, Georgia; Ed Bryan and friend, Mary Dale of Lenox, Georgia; Kathy and Jim Williams of Greenville, South Carolina; Billy and Robin Bryan of Lenox, Georgia; Alice and Byron Saylor of Tifton, Georgia; Susie and Melvin Hines of Tifton, Georgia; 23 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren; two brothers: Earl Bryan of Adel, Georgia and Jack Bryan of Sparks, Georgia; three sisters: Jewel Bryan of Lenox, Georgia; Sarah Nash of Moultrie, Georgia and Mearle Griffin of Lenox, Georgia. Mr. Bryan was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Brown Bryan; daughter-in-law, Linda Bryan; great grandson J. T. Bryan; two brothers, J. C. Bryan and Odis Bryan; three sisters: Maudie Sellers, Mattie Harrell and Nannie Ruth Crum.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Bennett, Rev. David Biggers and Mr. John Reed officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.; Adel, Georgia. — Boone Funeral Home.
