VALDOSTA — Horace (Bud) Myrick, of Barney, passed away on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Janet Myrick of Barney; a son, Russell Myrick; two daughters, Beth Guilliams and Mari Robb; five grandchildren; a brother, Donald Myrick and a sister Peg Downing. Until his retirement, he was employed by Spectrum Sciences and Software in the operations of Grand Bay Range. Carson McLane Funeral Services is assisting the family locally. Services will be held in Lubbock, Texas under the direction of Combest Funeral Home.
