VALDOSTA —
Mildred C. Buckley, 73, of Quitman, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta. Ms. Buckley was born Jan. 8, 1939, to the late O.G. Carney Sr., and Ruby Lee Kent.
Survivors include one sister, Syble Griffin of Hahira; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Luther Gene and Dale Carney of Quitman, O.G. Carney of Quitman, and Raymond and Donna Carney of Valdosta.
Graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Ike Jefferson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home.
