VALDOSTA —
Clinton Douglas Rowland Sr., 60, of Lake Park, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, at South Georgia Medical Center after a period of declining health. He was born Nov. 25, 1951, in Lowndes County to the late Foster Montgomery and Minnie Lee (McRainie) Rowland. Mr. Rowland worked as a millwright at Nestle Water.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Patricia Warren Rowland, Lake Park; son and daughter-in-law, Clinton D. and Lynn Rowland Jr., Lake Park; daughter and son-in-law, Sheree Renee and Rex Craig, Lake Park; six grandchildren, Zane Rowland, Elaine Rowland, Kari Butenschon, Hannah Butenschon, Gracie Craig and Jeff Craig; one great-grandson, Zachary Rowland, all of Lake Park; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jack Rowland, Valdosta, Randy and Debbie Rowland, Tampa, Fla.; sister, Gwen Rowland Sublett, West Palm Beach, Fla.
As per his wishes, Mr. Rowland will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012, at New Seasons Church of God, 122 Pendleton Avenue, Valdosta.
