Sharon Cofield, 59, of Lake Park, died on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at her home after a lengthy illness. Born in Valdosta on Nov. 4, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Benny Peace and Hilda Reynolds Peace. Sharon worked for Truck Stops of America. She was a Baptist.
Survivors are her daughter and son in law, Stacey and Jeff Hall of Lake Park, granddaughter, Taylor Hall of Lake Park, sister, Marilyn Warren of Jacksonville, Fla., brother, Tillman Don Hutto of Jacksonville, Fla., sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Aut Ravipong of Valdosta, special companion, Johnny Sexton of Lake Park, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Pastor Lawrence Thomas will officiate.
