VALDOSTA —
Mary Bell Cleckley was born June 14, 1950 to the late Susie E. Horace Bell. Later, she married James Cleckley in 2009. In this union, she leaves to mourn one daughter, Angelie Copeland, one son, James Cleckley, Jr., five grandchildren, seven sisters, and one brother.
She faithfully served at Pentecostal House of Prayer as an In-House Prophetess, served on the Usher Board, and was a member for 23 years under the leadership of Apostle Kathy Kinchen.
Mary Cleckley leaves to lament precious memories for her husband, James Cleckley; daughter, Angelie Copeland; son, James Cleckley Jr. ; one brother, Freddie Bell (Dee); seven sisters, Roxie Morrison (the late Yancy), Bonnie Wallace (Tyrone), Valdosta, Mother Plumie Slaughter (Pastor Slaughter), Virginia Henry (Tony); god sister, Cora Mitchell, Miami, Fla., Willie Mae Woods (James), Eva Mae Graham (Calvin), Lavern McNeal, Toledo, Ohio, Essie Mae Wade (Soloman), N.J. She has greatly influenced the lives of six grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other sons and daughters in the Lord.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at the Pentecostal House of Prayer Church, Pastor Kathy Kinchen will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. this evening at Harrington Funeral Home Chapel. — Final rites are entrusted to Harrington
