Michael David Philips, 39, of Valdosta, Ga. died Monday, March 18, 2013 in Quitman, Ga.
Michael was born in Norfolk, Va. and grew up in Pensacola, Fla. He was managing partner of Longhorn Steakhouse. Michael loved good friends, good food, good music, history, science fiction and world travel.
Michael is preceded in death by his sister Dr. Heather Bazzel, M.D.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Dan Philips of Pensacola, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Rabbi Joel Fleekop officiating. Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-2 p.m., Sunday.
