Dessie Dasher, 79, of Lake Park passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born October 12, 1932 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Mrs. Dasher was a homemaker and the co-owner of Dasher’s Nursery. She was a member of the Jennings Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther Orvil and Lucy Mahan.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Dasher, Lake Park, Ga.; 2 Daughters and Son-In-Law, Aline and Nick Law Jr., Jennings, Fla., Faye Dasher, Lake Park, Ga.; 2 Sons and Daughter-in-Laws, Tommy and Karen Dasher, Lake Park, Ga., Larry and Sarah Dasher, Valdosta, Ga., 11 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; one Sister, Anna Hinds, Davenport, NE; 2 Brothers, Ray Mahan, Madison, Ala., Leo Mahan , Colo.; Several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Music Funeral Services Chapel with burial to follow in Dasher Cemetery
The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service
