Fredanel (Freddie) Guest Millsap, 67, of Valdosta died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Valdosta on January 10, 1945 to the late James Wilbur and Clora Witherington Guest. Mrs. Millsap was a graduate of Valdosta High School and retired from the State of Georgia after 30 years of service.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Eric and Jennifer Bramble of Tuscon, AZ., Brett and Shari Richardson of Valdosta, one grandchild, Ethan Richardson of Valdosta, two sisters and brothers- in- law, Marilyn and Lee Rykard of Enterprise, Ala., Jeannie and Charles Powers of Hahira and a wide extended family and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Wilson Millsap. The family greatly acknowledges the love and concern shown to them by the staff of the Pearlman Cancer Center, Langdale Hospice House and Hospice of South Georgia.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Monday, February 6, 2012 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Dr. A. H. “Skip” VanNus officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, P. O. Box 1727, Valdosta, GA 31603-1727.
