Sister Martha F. Riley was born on February 10, 1917 to the late Gus and Georgia Fergurson in Madison, Fla. Martha Fergurson Riley was married to the late Cornelius Riley.
Sister Martha Riley was baptized into Christ’s Body and was currently a member of the Southside Church of Christ. She departed this life on Thursday, February 28, 2013.
Sister Martha Riley leaves her loving and wonderful memories to be cherished by her two sons, David Riley, Valdosta, Georgia and Wilbur J (Liana M.) Riley, San Antonia, Texas; Grandchildren, Cornelius Riley, III, Velma J. Wood, Brien Riley, Anthony Riley, Catherine Riley, Christopher C. Riley, and Robert J. Riley; Great Grandchildren, Austin D. Pacholke, Andreas J. Riley, Nariya N. Riley, Justine Riley; and Chanel L. Riley; Great-Great Grandchildren, Ija Jackson, Ariyona Manghram, Brayder Barrett, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Riley, Sr., and by Cornelius Riley, Jr., and Willie Riley.
Graveside Services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Valdosta, Ga. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Music Funeral Services in Valdosta, Georgia.
