VALDOSTA —
Ruth F. Manley, 85, of Valdosta, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Lakehaven Nursing Home.
She was born December 18, 1927 in Brooks County, a daughter of the late James and Verna Parker Faircloth. She had honorably served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, and later was employed as an Accountant with General Motors. Mrs. Manley was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and the Chapel Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Manley, and is survived by relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mrs. Manley will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at the Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. David Tart officiating. — Carson McLane Funeral Home of Valdosta.
