Felton L. Harrelson, 69 of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was born in Jacksonville, Fla. on July 5, 1943 to the late Russell and Helen (Sauls) Harrelson. He worked as an automotive mechanic for most of his life.
Survivors Include his wife of 48 years, Mary Harrelson of Valdosta; three daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Richard Rowe, Nashville, Ga., Anita and Tim Watson, Lakeland, Ga., Pam and J.D. Yeager, Valdosta, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Christina Watson, Jarrod Watson, Cortney Watson, Brooke Yeager, Nicole Rowe, Morgan Yeager, Hanna Yeager and Maryann Rowe; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Jean and Gerald James Valdosta, Doris Powell, MaryLou and Joe Ervin, Valdosta, Linda and Chuck Kennedy, Atlanta; brother, Harry Harrelson, Adel; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, Feb. 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com.
