James Hutchinson

- — James Hutchinson, 69, of Valdosta died on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Langdale Hospice House after a 4 year, courageous battle with colon cancer. He was born in Quitman on December 7, 1942 to the late Lethea Sr., and Mozelle Monk Hutchinson. He was employed for 26 years with Fleet Supply of Georgia where he was the parts manager and known for his knowledge of heavy duty truck and trailer parts. He was a veteran of the National Guard and was a member of Westside Baptist Church. James loved to fish, and he loved camping and RVing in the mountains around Blairsville and most of all spending time with his grandson.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Rena Alice White Hutchinson of Valdosta; two sons and daughters-in-law, James Jason and Kate Hutchinson of Gainesville, Florida and Justin Alan and Nicole Hutchinson of Tifton; his grandson, Dylan Justin Hutchinson of Tifton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Roark of Valdosta, Eva Nell and Kenneth Jones of Quitman, Barbara and Renley Bustle of Coolidge; his brother, Lethea Hutchinson, Jr. of Valdosta; mother-in-law, Anna White of Valdosta; sister-in-law, Martha Findley of Valdosta; a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends at Rivers Edge RV Resort in Blairsville, GA, and the employees of the Farm House Resturant in Lake Park.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Eugene Hutchinson and his father-in-law, Paul N. White.

Services for James Hutchinson will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. The burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
