VALDOSTA —
Myrtice Maluda, 75 of Naylor passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on April 7, 1937 in Lakeland, Ga. to the late Manassah and Lilla Mae (Pierce) Hendley. She was a member of the Unity United Methodist Church in Lakeland. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Charles Keith Maluda, Jr. and Alan Gregory Maluda and a sister, Sara Faye Hendley.
Her survivors include her husband, Charles Keith Maluda Lakeland; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jerry Saffioti Orlandao, Fla.; daughter, Denise Maluda, Valdosta; sons and daughters-in-law, Victor and Jennifer Maluda, Montgomery, Ala., Rodney and Janet Maluda, Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and James Benton, Naylor; grandchildren, Talarie and John Hayes, Madison, Ga., Magan Harris, Tallahassee, Fla., Addam Benton, Naylor, Ga., Kate Maluda, Beaufort, S.C., Austin Benton Naylor, Ga., Paige Maluda, Montgomery, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Braiden Lamont and Natalie Hayes; sisters, Naomi Ganas, Lakeland, Ga., Alene Tomlinson, Lakeland; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jules Albert, Metairie, La.; brother, Eugene Hendley, Homerville, Ga.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Donna Hendley, Metairie, La., Nass, Jr. and Elaine Hendley, Homerville, Dennis and Naung Hendley, Lakeland, John and Jonnie Hendley, Homerville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at Unity United Methodist Church in Lakeland with burial to follow in Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday morning from 10-11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral services. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Unity United Methodist Church.
