Maryline Wright Strickland, 64, of Quitman passed away Thursday Aug. 2, 2012 at the Presbyterian Home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Arlington, Ga. she was the daughter of Johnny and Nadine Blackburn Wright. She was the owner/operator of Harvey’s Garage and a member of Quitman First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Harvey Strickland of Quitman; two daughters; Alison (Burt) Wider of Quitman, April (Jonathan) Hart of Pavo; her mother; Nadine Blackburn Wright of Boston, Ga.; four grandchildren, Miranda, Sawyer, Quincey and Isabelle; and one sister; Barbara Adams of Boston, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Johnny Wright.
The family will receive friends at the Quitman First Baptist Church this evening from 5-7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Sunday Aug. 5, 2012 at 3 p.m. in the Quitman First Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Daughtry, and the Rev. Tom Renfro officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery in Pavo, Ga.
