VALDOSTA —
Mrs. Eurdice Williams was born July 15, 1936 in Barretts, Ga. to the late Mrs. Madie Norwood and the late Mr. Efford J Williams. She received her education in the Valdosta Public School System. Mrs. Williams was a believer of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and grandmother for Hallmark Heights. She resided at 521 Hightower Street in Valdosta, Georgia 31601. She demised this life on September 25, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center at the age 76.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Dixie Williams; and son, Anthony Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories six daughters: Patricia (Jerone) Debra Williams, Ardell Johns, Cheryl Williams, Marilyn Williams, and Tracy Williams; one son, Dixie (Vickie) Williams III; two sisters: Vinell Martin and Eloise Stokes; two
sisters-in law, Bobbie J. Williams and Gloria J. Wiseman; special god daughter, Anita (Rodney) Tyson Burton; special god son: Anthony Williams; special niece, Janice Williams; best friend, Katie Johnson; special friends, Mary Alice Pitts, Theodas Pitts, Robbie Hester, JoAnn Williams, Rose Walker, Patricia (Pat) Dyck, Calvin Brinson, Debra Williams and Pop Williams; and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at 3 p.m. at First Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Albert Barfield is Pastor and will officiate. Burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. — Harrington Funeral Home
