Mr. Ronald Grady Tillman, 73, of Adel, Ga. passed away Sunday evening, Oct. 7, 2012 at his home. He was born in Moultrie, Ga. on June 11, 1939 to the late Nathan Thomas Tillman and Hazel Keigans Tillman. Mr. Tillman lived most of his life in Cook County and was retired from Talley Corbett Box Company where he served as the Plant Superintendent. He was also a faithful member of Sparks United Methodist Church and also was a military veteran where he served in the United States Army.
Mr. Tillman is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Tiny Dunlap Tillman; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Ed Revels; two grandchildren, Carrie and Brock Revels, all of Adel; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and Frankie Cone of Conyers, Ga., Helen and Buddy Sutton of Norman Park, Ga., and Irma and Randy Hall of Quitman, Ga.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, J.E. and Jean Dunlap of Ashburn, Ga. and Cecil and Evelyn Dunlap of Alma, Ga.; several nieces and nephews, David and Alisa Cone of Rutledge, Ga.; Sala and Mike Newsom of Norman Park, Ga.,; Renee and Ian Oliveto of Thomasville, Ga.; Reggie and Leah Hall of Brunswick, Ga. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lunell Tillman.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday; Oct. 10, 2012 at the Sparks United Methodist Church in Sparks, Ga. with the Rev. James Sapp and the Rev. Sally Flowers officiating. Eulogies will be given by Ed Revels and Benny Ensley. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery Annex in Adel, Georgia. The family will receive friends this evening, Oct. 9, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S.
