Jack Calvin Bounds Sr., 54, of Adel, Ga., passed away at his residence Thursday afternoon Nov. 15, 2012 following a lengthy illness. He was born May 31, 1958 to the late Marvin and Gladys (Matlock) Bounds, Sr. in Dallas, Texas. He loved working outdoors, doing lawn care, bowling, and enjoyed spending time with his family. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Marvin “Buddy” Bounds, Sr.
His survivors include his wife, Marilyn E. Bounds of Adel, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law Kristy and Adam Tate of Adel, Ga.; son Jack Calvin Bounds, Jr. of Adel, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Shawn Wiese of Nashville; brother-in-law Steve Kautzman of Hahira, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Ronnie Carter of Seabring, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 from 3 p.m. until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
