Mrs. Pat Garvitte, 65 of Adel passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Cook Medical Center. Mrs. Garvitte was born February 10, 1947 to the late R. C. & Ruth Livingston Brady. She retired from lunchroom services with the Cook County Board of Education. Survivors include her son, Gary Garvitte of Adel; one daughter & son in law, Donna & Marshall Croft of Hahira; two brothers & sisters in law, John & Carolyn Brady of Sparks, and Richard & Sherry Brady of Nashville; one sister, Mary Odom of Adel; five grandchildren, Trisha Garvitte, Cheryl Garvitte, Ashley Croft, Kaysie Croft, and Marlie Croft; two great grandchildren, Brady Garvitte, and Bradley Garvitte; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Garvitte was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Garvitte.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Harris Whitman officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Sparks Cemetery.
