Services for Jason G. Silvey, 38, of Quitman will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Family Worship Center, Cairo, Ga. Pastor Johnny Moore will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo. Mr. Silvey passed away at his home in Quitman on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.
Active pallbearers will be Eddie Dixon, Jason Palmer, Steven Gainous, Ab McCoy, Lee Nix, Josh Nealey, Justin Hudson and Mark Morrell. Honorary pallbearer will be Matt Brock.
Mr. Silvey was born on Dec. 31, 1974, in St. Petersburg, Fla. His parents are Barbara Ann and Dayne Croley. On March 21, 2008, he married Heaven Nealey Silvey, who survives. He was an IA/A & P in Aviation. Jason was the airport manager of the Cook County Airport. He also owned and operated Elite Aircraft Services. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Heaven N. Silvey of Quitman; daughter, Tristen Silvey of Quitman; son, Jason Jet Silvey of Quitman; parents, Barbara and Dayne Croley of Cairo; grandmother, Lavene Anderson of Cairo; grandfather, Charles Pipkin of Cairo.
The family will receive friends at Family Worship Center, 1760 Highway 84 W., Cairo, on today, Jan. 10, 2013, from 6-8 p.m.
