Berry Blanton, 57 of Valdosta, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 in South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 16, 1955 in Lowndes County, GA to Sarah Catherine (Sutton) Blanton of Valdosta and the late Jack Blanton. He worked for Georgia Automatic Sprinkler and attended Westend Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his mother, Sarah Catherine (Sutton) Blanton, Valdosta; sister, Katrina Blanton, Valdosta; niece, Jessica Smith, Valdosta; nephew, Trevor Blanton, Valdosta; niece, Nicole Smith, Valdosta; great-nephew, Kayden Veal, Valdosta; uncle and aunt, Raymond and Betty Ann Sutton, Valdosta; uncle, George Sutton, Valdosta; aunt, Odel Smith, Valdosta; and aunt, Eloise Blanton of Valdosta.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services and burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
