VALDOSTA —
Mrs. Lounell Bullard Johnson, 77, of Adel, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at Berrien County Hospital. She was born on July 13, 1935, to the late Claude Lawson "Dink" Bullard and Isabelle Walker Bullard Jones. She lived most of her life in Adel, was a Baptist, and worked as a homemaker.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Ronnie Spires of Nashville, Ga., and Sheila and Darlow Maxwell of Albany, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Paula and Glenn Simmons of Adel, Wendy and Greg Wingate of Adel, Taryn Moore of Albany, Ga., Matt Spires, Adam Spires, Ryan Spires, Brianna Johnson and Garrett Johnson, all of Nashville, Ga.; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jimmy Bullard of Adel, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Elwood "Bill" Johnson and two sons, Kevin and Dale Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson's family will receive friends this evening, Feb. 1, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel, Ga. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Community Calvary Holiness Church with the Rev. Lawton Watson and the Rev. L.C. Harnage officiating.
