VALDOSTA —
Mrs. Lucille Wright, 85, of Adel, GA, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 in Palatka, FL, following a sudden illness. She was born August 25, 1927 in Adel, GA to the late James Henry Felts and Minnie Lee Watts Felts. She lived in Cook County all of her life and was retired from Greene Insurance Agency where she was a bookkeeper. She was also a homemaker and a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Terry W. Wright of Adel, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Lee Edwards of Tampa, FL; a brother, Joel Felts of Adel, GA; a sister, Hazel Tucker of Adel, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Darlene Wright; two brothers, Lewis and James Felts; and two sisters, Mary Ray and Christine Rowan.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel, GA. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch United Methodist Church in Adel, GA, with Rev. Randy Moseley and Rev. Jason Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn City Cemetery in Adel, GA. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32606, or the charity of your choice.
