Mary Louise Stanley, 67, of Valdosta went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 at Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born in Valdosta on Nov. 12, 1944 to the late Ollie and Mary Lou (Arnold) Frier. She was a member of Azalea City Church of God. Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Edward Gurdine Stanley, a sister, Linda Wetherington and a brother, Archie Frier.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Earl Musgrove of Valdosta, Ga.; Sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle and Connie Stanley of Valdosta, Ga., Stewart and Wanda Stanley of Valdosta, Ga.; Grandchildren Jennifer, Shanna (Donnie), Chris, Keira, Thomas (Aysia), Matthew, Chelsea and Lucas; Great grandchildren Kayleigh Grace and Chloe; Sister Dorothy Smith of Valdosta, Ga.; Brothers and sisters-in-law Shelton and Joan Frier of Valdosta, Ga., Bobby and Helen Frier of Lake Park, Ga.; and several Nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Pastor Brett Jarriel, the Rev. Raymond Gabbard officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2012 at the funeral home.
