VALDOSTA — Mr. Elvert Cooks, age 71 of Quitman, GA passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2012 at Brooks County Emergency Room in Quitman, GA. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at North End Cemetery at 1 P.M. with Rev. Ernest Jackson, officiating. Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home in Quitman is in charge of the arrangements.
