She was born Rosemary Elizabeth Muldowney on Nov. 17, 1928 in Summit, N.J. She later moved to the Bronx, New York, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Walter E. Muldowney and Alice Quinn Muldowney. She was married to Walter John Zagorski on July 12, 1952 and moved to Yorktown Heights, N.Y. in 1955. Walter preceded Rosemary in death on April 11, 1991. Her hobbies included breeding and raising champion Cairn Terriers and showing them in dog shows all over the country even winning several ribbons at Westminster AKC, Madison Square Garden in N.Y. Gardening was a favorite past time and her gardens were inspiring. Rosemary was gentle in spirit and kind in nature and leaves a rich heritage of beautiful memories to her family and friends.
