Versie Foster Washington was born September 26, 1948 to the parents of Willie K. and Louise Foster.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter: Lisa Washington McEady and one brother: Willie C. Foster.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband: Freeman Washington; daughters: Natarsha Washington of Charlotte, NC and Wanda Bell of Valdosta, GA; one son in-law: Charles McEady; four grandchildren; five brothers: Charles Foster (Gloria), Ivory Foster (Doris), Gary Foster (Laverne), Tarrell Foster (Samantha) and Darrell Foster (Jacqueline); five sisters: Ada Davis, Shirley Berrian, Surdelta Sirman (Marvin), Beverly Hicks (Jimmy) all of Valdosta, GA and Doris Carr (Edward) of Atlanta, GA; two brothers in-law: Semeion Washington, Sr. and Columbus Washington; one sister in-law: Mary Nell Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Special caregivers: Family Healthcare, her nieces: Sabrina Davis, Cassandra Stokes and Tamara Foster: her nephews: Nick, Alex, Dominique, Travis and Michael; her sister: Beverly and her friend: Teri Johnson.
Memorial service for Mrs. Versie Foster Washington will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., from the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness, 4244 N. Forrest Street, Valdosta.
Bro. Leroy Strickland, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Public viewing will be today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.godfreyfuneralhome.net.
