Tracy Rene Pruitt-Dooley of Valdosta passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 4 p.m. at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 6, 1961 in Kansas City, Mo. to Lorna Beatty and the late Charles Pruitt. She was a member of the American Legions’ Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Dooley of Valdosta, Ga., her sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Amy Brawdy (Chattanooga, Tenn.), Anthony and Jessica Brawdy (Heidelberg, Germany), Christopher Dooley and Patrick Dooley of Valdosta, Ga, three grandchildren, Alexis Towns, Megan Rene Brawdy and Saylor Brawdy, her mother Lorna Beatty of Thomasville, Ga., a step-mother, Sharon Pruitt of Kansas City, Mo., a sister and brother-in-law Valerie and Robert DeLuca of Ft. Worth, Texas, a niece, Cyndey Martin of Aurora, Co. and several other extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Entombment to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetary. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the funeral home.
