Mr. John Brady, 76 of Sparks passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Brady was born March 7, 1937 to the late R.C. and Ruth Livingston Brady. He was a insurance agent with Liberty National and was a member of Sparks United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Becton Brady of Sparks; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Karen Brady of Stafford, Va.; one daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Billy Bryan of Lenox; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sherri Brady of Nashville; one sister, Mary Odom of Adel; five grandchildren, Renea and Anthony Barnett, Brittney Bryan, Zachary Brady, Johnathan Brady, and Kaitlin Brady; one great-granddaughter, Melissa Barnett. Mr. Brady was preceded in death by two sons, Bob Brady, and Andy Brady; and his sister, Pat Garvitte.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Sparks United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sally Flowers officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Sparks Cemetery.
