VALDOSTA —
J. Maxine Walker, 55, of Statenville, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012, at her residence. She was born July 18, 1956, in Valdosta, Ga., to the late M. Eugene and J. Jewell Folsom. She was a R.N. employed with home health care, helping others at their home.
She was preceded in death by a brother Ruehl Folsom; son, Sean-Michael Walker; and a grandson, Nathanule Walker.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Hunter of Statenville; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Jose Cabrera, Statenville, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Clancy and Lisa Walker, Nashville, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Michele Hunter, Valdosta; grandchildren, Joshua and Francisca Cabrera, Christopher Cabrera, Alejandro Cabrera, Kylie Clifton, Amber Walker, Chloe Hunter, Isabel Hunter, Daniel Ingram, Taylor Young, KC Andren; great-grand, Gabriela Cabrera; nephew, Daniel Folsom; nieces, Stephanie Folsom and Angela Folsom.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
