VALDOSTA —
Tina Maria Moore, beloved sister, cousin, aunt and friend, age 60, of Yardley, Pa. quietly passed away on Feb. 15, 2013. Born in Augusta, Ga., she spent her youth in Adel and graduated from Valdosta State University. She passionately pursued a career in theater performance, and continued on to become a successful managing partner of an executive search firm in Manhattan, where she founded and grew the Creative Services division.
A loving and creative spirit, Tina dedicated her life to caring for and nurturing family, friends and beloved animals.
She embodied the term “larger than life” and carried a humble yet confident sense of courage, ethics and strength that was admired by all. She was an ardent volunteer for the Visiting Nurses Association and supported multiple animal welfare charities. Her generosity extended beyond organizations, as friends and loved ones were blessed by being surrounded by her loving heart and soul that was always accompanied by a joyful laugh and bright smile.
Tina was predeceased by her mother, Mavis Laurine (Whitehurst) Moore, father Joseph “Ham” Moore, and brother Charles Herbert Moore. She is survived by her family: sister Carolyn (Moore) Siefferman, cousin Hilda Whitehurst-Beall, nephews Paul Siefferman, Adam Moore and Matt Moore, sister-in-law Brenda W Moore, special cousins Jared, Amy, Wade and Seth Howell and Marty Howell and family. She is also survived by her stepson Jonathan Gundersen, many dear friends, and her beloved cats, Jack and Will.
A memorial service will be held on February 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. (where friends may call at 10 a.m.) at FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue, Yardley, Pa.
