Lt. Col. George M. McClure passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 in McDonough, Ga. He was born on Sept. 9, 1949 in Calhoun, Ga. to George and Edna McClure. He Retired from the Unites States Army. He was predeceased by his father, George McClure.
Survivors are his wife, Janet L. McClure of Valdosta, Ga.; one son, Marlin (Brandi) McClure of Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Chanda J. McClure of East Point, Ga.; two grandsons, Keegan and Jaidan McClure of Charlotte; mother, Edna S. McClure of Calhoun; three sistersa; two brothers; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, Oct.15, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church. The Family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment, Gordon Memorial Garden with Military Rites.
