VALDOSTA —
Dennis McCarty, 55, of Nashville, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 18, 1957, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Bruce McCarty and the late Peggy Dowdy. He was employed at Monroe Communications in Waycross, was an electronic technician, and he was an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Paulk McCarty of Nashville; three sons, Erick (Charlotte) Paulk of Pearson, Christopher McCarty of Nashville, and Bryan (Leea) McCarty of Adel; two sisters, Eileen Alvarado of Michigan and Marilyn Rudzitis of Illinois; two stepbrothers, Stanley McCarty of Chicago, Ill., and Reid McCarty of Michigan; three grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. David Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Fletcher Memorial Cemetery in Willacoochee. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
