Herchel Alwyn Williams, 44, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola, Fla., after a long battle with brain cancer.
He was born Aug. 9, 1968, in Izmir, Turkey, the son of Joe and Eulouise Williams. He was married June 27, 1998 to Monica Schlitt in Springfield, IL.
Herchel graduated with a Bachelors degree in history from Southern Illinois University and received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Illinois. He proudly served as an Officer in the United States Army Reserves.
Herchel is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosa and Harry Williams and Herchel and Elizabeth Hamill.
Surviving are his wife, Monica; two children, Emma and Britton; parents, Joe and Eulouise (Hamill) William and one sister, Sunny Williams.
Services were held in Pensacola, Fla. on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.
