VALDOSTA —
James Monroe Williamson, 90, of Nashville, died Tuesday Nov. 6, 2012, at the Osceola Health Care.
He was born Nov. 9, 1921, in Eufora, Miss., to the late Luther Williamson and the late Lucy May Williams. He was a retired logger and member of the United Pentecostal Church in Valdosta.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Lowe Williamson; two sons, Lamar Williamson and Earl Williamson; granddaughter, Mary Charlene Taylor.
He is survived by his daughter, Alene Rowe of Fitzgerald; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 9 a.m. until hour of services. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
