VALDOSTA —
Clara L. “Bootsie” Miller, 84, of Ray City, Ga., passed away Tuesday Oct., 9, 2012, at her daughter’s residence. She was born in Berrien County, Ga., April 24, 1928, to the late Rufus Henry and Ann Gallager Miller. She was a member of the Ray City United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Miller; parents; a son, Billy Jack Miller; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Billy Miller and Charles Miller.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Williams of Ray City, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Ray City United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Beaver Dam Cemetery. Mrs. Miller will be placed in the church one hour prior to service. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
