VALDOSTA —
Mary Louise Faucette, 83, of Quitman, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Presbyterian Home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Faucette was born Dec. 20, 1930, to the late Ernest Alton Moore and Evie Lee Thompson Moore. Prior to her marriage, she was employed by the ASCS office. She was a member of Okapilco Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Evanne Louise and Dwayne Kennedy of Quitman; three sons and daughters-in-law, George Alton Faucette of Quitman, Jeffrey Moye and Renita Faucette of Quitman, and Terry Frank and Cindy Faucette of Valdosta; eight grandchildren, Lisa Johnson, Ashley and Matt Williams, Jenna Kennedy, Kellie Kennedy, Chad Faucette, Garrett Faucette, Gavin Faucette, and Gage Faucette; three great-grandchildren, Kristen Rankin, Conner Johnson, and Dawson Matthew Williams; one sister and brother-in-law, Nellie Frank Moore and Charles Smart of Quitman.
Mrs. Faucette was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles Faucette.
Graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Okapilco Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Arnold Hodum and the Rev. Randy Blow officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home.
