Mr. Myers Renae McDonald, 79, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, in the Shands at the University of Florida, in Gainesville, Fla.
Mr. McDonald was born July 21, 1933, in Echols County, to the late Myers McDonald and Lula Bertie Allen McDonald. He was a self-employed Heating and air conditioning service man and attended the Stockton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one brother: Verell McDonald.
Survivors are his wife: Dorothy Futch McDonald, Homerville, GA: one daughter: Angela McDonald, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: Richard and Jennifer McDonald, Homerville; two sisters: Deloris and Gary Buerger and Maxine McDonald, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren: Nikki Zeigler, Valdosta, Alyssa McDonald, Alysson McDonald, both of Homerville, Melanie King, Valdosta and Jessica Limon, Oklahoma City, OK; seven great grandchildren and several other relatives..
Services for Mr. McDonald will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at two o’clock from the Stockton Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Mr. McDonald will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
