Palma “Pat” Gray (Patsy Singletary), age 70, of Adel, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Gray was born January 31, 1942 to the late Amos and Claudie Hall Singletary. She attended Beulah Holiness Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Eugene Gray of Adel; three sons and daughters-in-law, Clint and Gerri Scruggs of Waycross, Anthony and Melissa Gill of Nashville, Ga. and Stacey and Jeanette Gill of Port Orange, Fla.; three brothers and sisters in law, Bennie F. and Wilma Singletary of Howell, Ga., Elton and Sue Singletary of Sparks, and Donnie and Debbie Singletary of Hinesville; one sister and brother in law, Shirley and Cleon Brown of McRae, Ga.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Elton Ring, and Mary and Tommy Moore.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Mathews and Rev. Ed Godwin officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening at Purvis Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.purvisfh.com.
