Jamie Marie Cannon, 67, of Panama City, Fla. and formerly of Valdosta, died on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at Bay Medical Hospital in Panama City following a sudden illness.
She was born in Lowndes County on May 31, 1945 to the late James and Mary Lee Hill Rowland.
She was employed with Regions Bank in Panama City and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Gene Cannon of Panama City, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Kathy Cannon also of Panama City; daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Mark Alston of Macon, Ga. and Jennifer and Randy Clark of Jones County, Ga.; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a sister and brother-in-law, LaWanda and Max Croft of Atlanta; a brother, Billy Rowland of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Jamie Marie Cannon will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at Redland Baptist Church.
